...And Now Miguel - Joseph Krumgold, Jean Charlot The book was about a boy Shepherd in New Mexico. It was an interesting story, but I got lost and had a hard time following along. I also didn't understand some of what Miguel was talking about most of the time. Miguel attends school in the United States (Born and raised in New Mexico, USA). Why was he talking and thinking in broken English? (like it is a second language to him). I could have understood maybe his parents or Grandfather, but him?
